The 2nd Responder Foundation is in formation, so we can't take relief requests just yet. When intake opens, applications will be confidential, take about ten minutes, and never cost a family anything. Leave your email and we'll let you know the moment we start accepting requests.
What you'll be able to apply for
Household Stability Grant
Direct payment of rent, mortgage, utilities, or transportation for households that lost their primary income to a death or disabling illness within the last 12 months. Planned award: up to $2,500.
Final Expense Assistance
Paid directly to a licensed funeral home for burial or cremation costs when no policy or prearrangement exists. Planned award: up to $3,000.
Benefits Navigation
A caseworker reviews the household's situation and helps file for survivor benefits, employer death benefits, state programs, and unclaimed policies — at no cost to the family.
